Take a look at the people around you. If you’re in the U.S., about 1 in 10 women, and 1 in 5 men, have had a sexual experience involving more than two people.
These numbers come from new research from the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, published this month in the peer-reviewed journal PLOS One.
Here’s some cool insight into those new research findings, from Forbes:
“If you’re thinking those numbers don’t add up, they don’t have to. It’s possible that more threesomes involved two men and a woman than the other way around, or three men only.”
